Opening New Markets

Once it is determined that they are a suitable fit and have the required capabilities, finalise the distribution agreement and develop the strategic plan.

Ensure that when the first order has been placed and the shipment arrives, there is immediate action to begin the process of moving the product into the market through the channels of distribution.

Market Activation

Getting the new products into the channels of distribution, be it modern trade or traditional trade is taken care of by the distributor, but what is important from the outset is getting the products to move off the shelves into the hands of the end consumer. Retailers will lose confidence in your brand if they don’t see immediate movement.

This is achieved through implementing an effective marketing plan which depends on the target market and their buying behavior. Through our experience, we know what works.

Market Management & Reporting

You will have access to volume sales through your own company reports, but this information is not enough to measure your true performance.

We can provide you with reports that allow you to assess your performance such as retailer listings, store audits, in-market sales, geographic penetration, share of shelf, etc.

Remember that distributors distribute a large number of brands and will focus less on brands that may take more focus and effort. We will manage the Distributor as you would to ensure that they are focussing on your brands. This can include working on forecasts and business plans and then meausring them against them.

If you are an existing business already in a market and you wish to improve your performance, we offer a consultancy service that will assess your business, both internal and external factors, and then develop a plan for improvement.

This would include us shadowing across your organisation so that we are fully able to understand your business and your market.
